		<description>There nice as long as you don&#039;t have an intel based mac.  HP has not upgraded the driver because the scanner in discontinued.  I agree,  this is a sweet scanner, I absolutely love it, and I am surprised that HP has discontinued this model and equally surprised that no other vendor has pick-ed up the idea on this type of scanning.  I am left with two options.  Hook up my scanner to an older mac or pay for a third party driver that supports this scanner on intel macs like VueScan for $89 at http://www.hamrick.com/</description>
